Grain Buds, the 8th solar term of a year, means that the seeds from the grain are becoming full but are not ripe. As soft breezes ripple through golden wheat fields, ancient rites are observed in hopes of a fruitful harvest. Waterwheels spin with a lively splash, and the birthday of the Silkworm God brings wishes of auspicious fortune. In the fields, ripening grain speaks of enduring bonds, while markets echo with cheerful chatter. Today, as we behold these timeless scenes, we offer prayers for peace and well-being across the land.
